Tipton Health, the nation’s leading nursing consultancy, is pleased to announce that Deborah K. Martin, MSN, RN, CNML, has joined our team as Executive Nursing Consultant. In her new role, Deborah will guide nursing teams to improvements in quality and safety outcomes, nurse leader work environments, nurse satisfaction and the advancement of the profession of nursing.

Martin most recently served as director of professional development and the Magnet® program for Bristol Health successfully leading them to designation. Previously, she served as regional director, professional practice and allied health for Hartford Healthcare. She spent her early nursing career at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, where she rose through various nursing management roles before becoming the nursing director of performance, practice and innovation.
Martin earned her master’s of science degree in nursing from the University of Connecticut and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Alfred University College. She is published and has presented nationally and regionally on a number of topics, including pediatric care. Martin was named the 2024 Transformational Nurse of the Year by Bristol Hospital.
