She is currently a Senior Executive Advisor at Northwell Health.

From 1999 to 2025, Maureen served as the system Chief Nursing Officer for Northwell Health. From 2005 to 2025, she was also the director of the Northwell Health Institute for Nursing, which focuses on nursing education, nursing research, the creation of healthy work environments, and the development of future nursing leaders within the health system. In 2023, Maureen was named one of Modern Healthcare’s 50 Most Influential Clinical Executives and a Notable Leader in Healthcare for Crain’s Business.
